Every Monday of the past academic year, Theo had an after-school class where kids his age worked on the fundamentals of gymnastics. Parents attended the last session to see their child perform the practiced routines. The kids flipped, flung, flew, and (occasionally) fell through the program with determination as the proud public cheered them on. The highlight for Theo came at the end when Béla Károlyi carried him to the podium to receive his certificate.
