>Anne-Laure & I were skiing down to the cable car at Alpe d’Huez when I stopped to snap this photo. It was a very peaceful moment.

>Always Check the Homework…

February 20, 2009

>A friend sent this to me and I thought it was worthy of a post…

A first-year primary girl handed in this drawing for a homework assignment. After it was marked and the child brought it home, she returned to school the next day with the following note:

Dear Ms. Davis,

I want to be very clear on my child’s illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip bar. I work at Homebase and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent cold weather. This photo is of me selling a shovel.

>I came across the photo while cleaning my laptop; it was too cute not to post.

>Jeff’s Educational Trip

January 24, 2009

>Since I was dabbling with YouTube, I thought I would post this short film I made to celebrate my brother-in-law’s tenure at the University of Florida. It got quite a few laughs. Jeff earned it…even if he is a Gator.

>Inauguration Day

January 20, 2009

>Today was Inauguration Day and it was pleasure to see Obama sworn-in. Though he faces tough times with little experience, let’s hope he can use his resources and resilience to put the U.S. back on a path of glory. I helped organize an impromptu gathering for the American Club at the Wallace, a cozy bar on the quai de Saône. Several media organizations came and this clip was feature on France 3. You can see Anne-Laure and Theo waving Old Glory.
