>Christmas in Dixie

January 12, 2007

>This year, we spent Christmas in North Carolina. We had a wonderful time and my in-laws joined us for the festivities (Unfortunately, my brother-in-law couldn’t make it). Theo had a blast playing, walking and eventually chasing his cousins throughout my parents’ house. The majority of our time was spent either traveling the roads of Eastern North Carolina or seating at the table enjoying my mom’s cooking and various family discussions. You can see more pictures from the trip by clicking on the Photos section of the site.

On the way back to France, we made a quick stop in Atlanta to see our friend Sally and meet her wondeful husband Matt. Theo also had a chance to discover the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest with more than eight million gallons of water and more than 100,000 animals of 500 different species. >Joyeux Noël en Avance

December 18, 2006

>Since we are spending Christmas in the U.S. this year, we held our celebration in France on Sunday. Per usual, my mother-in-law made a wonderful meal (duck crumble) that was complimented by a 1990 Pommard. Yummy…

As you can see from the image, Theo was very enthusiastic about the photo session in between opening presents.

>A Passage to India

December 15, 2006

>I just returned from a business trip to India. The voyage was productive and I did have time to wander the various sites that the subcontinent has to offer. Though the majority of its population lives in extreme poverty, India’s citizens are hospitable and very willing to help you explore their homeland.
